- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet and rub them with olive oil and Cajun seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- While the salmon is baking, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a blender. Blend until smooth to prepare the avocado lime sauce.
- Serve the baked Cajun salmon topped with the creamy avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
Notes
Use ripe but firm avocado for a smooth sauce. Pat the salmon dry before seasoning. Do not overbake; check at 12 minutes.
