Bacon Jalapeno Popper Cheese Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Green onions, chopped
  • 2 Jalapenos, diced
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cooked bacon, garlic powder, green onions, diced jalapenos, onion powder, eggs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add in the breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese. Stir until fully combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the balls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, chill the formed balls for 15–20 minutes before frying to help them hold shape better. Serve with a dip like cranberry jalapeno cream cheese dip or your favorite sauce.
